Francis Dean, a folk rock duo from Phoenix, AZ, is JD Clayton; singer, songwriter and guitarist and Tim Schweitzer; drummer, producer and engineer. The two have been creating music since February of 2010.  FD's debut album Peace of Mind was released in June 2012.

Over the past 7 years the folk rock duo has been working hard at putting together over 70 original songs.  Following their debut album, Peace of Mind, the duo has created over 60 additional, original songs.  Francis Dean is currently, in the studio, laying down the tracks for the second album. 

Francis Dean music invokes the struggles of everyday life mixed with the cursor of storytelling. Lyricist and songwriter, JD Clayton, looks into the soul of the human spirit and interrelates the truth and complexities of life’s struggles. From “I Know I Can” to “Help Yourself” to “Prey on Me”.  Life is a roller coaster ride that is full of ups and downs, sharp turns and thrills.  Hang on for a fun time of life’s journey listening to the songs of Francis Dean.
